✍🏻 Professor Romance’s 4.5 ⭐️ Review: Meghan Quinn’s A Long Time Coming ✍🏻

Overall Grade: 4.5 ⭐️
Tropes: best friends to lovers; soulmates; college friends; engaged FMC; MMC as a best person; band of brothers
I think most readers would agree that they would love to be loved by Meghan Quinn’s Cane brothers. In her newest book, A Long Time Coming, I believe Breaker Cane wins the war of the brothers, however. The most affable, the most aware of his FMC’s needs, and possibly the steamiest in the bedroom (or bathtub), Breaker Cane is wont to steal hearts in Quinn’s newest book. Together, Lia and Breaker treat us to the ultimate friendship: these two are kindred through and through. When Lia becomes engaged, Quinn is so careful to show how inorganic her relationship is that it only makes sense that Breaker and Lia should end up together. Interestingly, they don’t figure it out sooner, given their friendship is so easy as they are a clear match. Instead, Quinn treats her readers to quite the spicy scenes to ramp up the chemistry between the two. It becomes a “no brainer” when they eventually figure out their love for each other…as each other’s forever.
A Long Time Coming is rife with laughter, a teeny bit of angst, some confusion, lots of steam, and the sweetest relationship of the three brothers. Additionally, Quinn gifts her readers updates for Huxley and JP, as they act as Breaker’s wizened guides and pesky brothers. Of the three books in this series, A Long Time Coming is my favorite. Here’s to hoping that we might get a bonus scene in the future for this group.
In love and romance,
Professor A
