Falling For You, an all-new sexy and emotional brother’s best friend romance from Jennifer Van Wyk is available now!

JVW_FallingforYou_ebook

Fake it ‘til you make it has been the motto I live by since my mother died.

I’m also doing a really bad job at the making it part.

The night we met, I was at my lowest.

But you gave me a reason to feel happy again.

For the first time in over a year, I feel optimistic.

You and I? We’re the same.

Don’t form attachments. Follow the rules. Don’t dream of a future.

Too bad our hearts wouldn’t listen.

And this storm we’re going through?

The one that threatens to rip us apart?

It doesn’t care that I’m falling for you.

Falling For You is a different kind of brother’s best friend romance and is as emotional

as it is sizzling.

Excerpt:

“Rex?”

“Hmm?”

He won’t look at me. His grip on the steering wheel so tight his knuckles are turning white. He swallows so hard I can hear the gulp from where I’m sitting next to him.

When I lay a hand on his forearm he almost jumps out of his seat.

“You okay?”

“Fine,” he croaks.

“You don’t sound fine.”

I almost start giggling because if I’m reading the situation correctly, he’s nervous about having sex with me. Or, maybe, just what my intentions are. Rex, the sexy bartender that every single female in town lusts over and many have slept with — which I refuse to think about — is hesitating.

I know he wants to.

His body language, actions and words have told me as much.

When he kisses me, it’s real. It sounds simple, because it is. I’ve kissed other men. He’s kissed other women. But it’s never been like this for me. And I know it’s never been like this for him, either.

I know that might make me sound arrogant or overconfident, but I’m not clueless. Nor am I insecure. His feelings toward me are obvious, he’s not hiding it in any way, and unless he’s the most devious person in the world, I think he’s just as turned on by my presence as I am with his. Which is at holy shit levels, if I’m being honest.

I’m in a dang near constant state of arousal around him.

We pull into my driveway and he cuts the engine. His left leg is propped against the door and aside from the constant tapping of his thumb against the steering wheel, he’s the picture of relaxation.

“Just gonna sit out here all night?” I ask, already sensing his hesitation to come inside. I can also see how badly he’s battling with himself right now.

To sex her.

Or not to sex her.

I think we’re on the same page here, though.

It’s just going to be fun messing with him a little bit.

He’s made it very clear that his past relationships have either ended horribly, by way of his brother, the ass, or by the night being over with.

He’s also hinted he would like to see where this thing between us is going to go.

For that to happen, we need to not have sex. At least not yet. Even though every molecule in my body is currently firing and screaming at me to HAVE SEX WITH THIS SEXY AS FUCK GUY ALREADY.

Okay, so maybe I’m not as secure in my decision as I thought but hey, I know he isn’t either.

I open my door and step down.

“Come on, you big baby. I don’t bite.” Then before I close the door I pop my head back through the opening, “Unless you want me to.” I slam the door and run up the few stairs to my front door, quickly unlock it, and rush inside.

I count to five and he’s already charging in after me.

“You think you’re so funny, don’t you? Teasing me like this?”

“Whatever do you mean?”

“I’m in your head, gorgeous. I know what you’re thinking.”

✍🏻 4.5 Star Review: Jennifer Van Wyk’s Falling for You ✍🏻

Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

I didn’t have the pleasure of reading the other book in the All for You series, but you can bet, after reading Falling for You by Jennifer Van Wyk, I will definitely add Gone for You to my Kindle library. Why, you might ask? Well, here goes…

Falling for You, the second book in this series, is a story about finding love and family in the midst of loss. The blurb suggests it’s a “best-friend’s brother falls in love with little sister” story, but, in the traditional sense of that trope, this isn’t the case. Instead, this story is one of finding your soulmate and letting go to find love.

Rex and Chloe are two individuals, content with living life on their own terms. Those terms include living a singleton life forever. Neither Rex or Chloe believe they will find “the one.” Then, one day, as Chloe sits in the bar where Rex works for his best friend (part-time), he spies her, and life changes. For both of them. From the first meeting, these two are destined for each other. However, Chloe’s identity could undo them. Or will it?

From the start, this couple is everything good about romance. They are witty, intelligent, and successful adults who simply have never found “the right one” until they find each other. Rex is seemingly the player, and he is…until Chloe. Chloe is struggling with life in the wake of her mother’s death; however, she is doing it well. Adding Rex into her life simply adds more layers and depth, which is also the case with Rex’s life. Together, they are sweet and funny and incredibly sexy. They are definitely steamy on the page. I think what I loved most about them is their ease. Trust me, I love angsty, heart-rending romance. It’s my favorite to be honest. Except that a heart can only take so much angst and alpha-holes before it needs couples that have enough chemistry on the page to keep you engaged in their story even when they have an ease about their relationship. And that’s the genius of this book. There isn’t a lot of turmoil between Rex and Chloe. Instead, the angst and turmoil comes from outside forces. Even then, it isn’t overwhelming that you stop reading because the story gets difficult to read. Instead, Rex and Chloe together sweeten the story to help the bitter go down. They are my favorite part of Falling for You.

Lastly, Jennifer Van Wyk’s story of finding family in the midst of loss is heady. It reminds us that we define family. Our biological family doesn’t need to stand in for us if we find an abiding love and support from people who genuinely care for us. I don’t want to share too much about this part of the story because I think it’s the meat of this book (beyond Rex and Chloe’s relationship). So…read this book to understand the significance of this part of the story.

If you love sweet couples who genuinely care and trust in each other, you will love Falling for You by Jennifer Van Wyk. She writes stories that allow you to breathe and fall in love with the characters as you read them fall in love on the page.

In love and romance,

Professor A

Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.

By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.

When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.

But that was where my fairytale ended.

Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.

At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.

I owed Caven my life.

However, I owed that innocent child more.

And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

✍🏻 Surprise Announcement: Siobhan Davis’s Cruel Intentions is Coming Soon ✍🏻

CI - SA banner.jpg

In the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees…

Cruel Intentions, an all-new dark, high school bully romance from USA Today bestselling author Siobhan Davis is coming June 10th!

CruelIntentions_ecover Final Final

Life is a cruel game where only the most ruthless survive. It’s a truth my mother rebelled against, and she paid for it with her life. Now, I play their game. Publicly accepting the destiny that lies in wait for me when I turn eighteen.

But, behind closed doors, I plot my escape.

Trent, Charlie, and my twin, Drew, rule the hallways of Rydeville High with arrogance and an iron fist. I execute my role perfectly, hating every second, but they never let me forget my place in this world.

Everyone obeys the rules. They have for generations. Because our families have always been in control.

Until Cam, Sawyer, and Jackson show up. Throwing their new money around. Challenging the status quo. Setting hearts racing with their gorgeous faces, hot bodies, and bad boy attitudes.

Battle lines are drawn. Sides are taken. And I’m trapped in the middle, because I made a mistake one fateful night when I gave my V-card to a stranger in a blatant F you to my fiancé.

I thought it was the one thing I owned. A precious memory to carry me through each dark day.

I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Because the stranger was Camden Marshall, leader of the new elite and my perpetual tormenter. He hates me with a passion unrivaled, and he won’t be the only one. Fire will rain down if the truth is revealed, threatening alliances, and the power struggle will turn vicious.

My life will hang in the balance.

But I’ll be ready, and I’m not going down without a fight.

✍🏻 Blog Tour and Excerpt Reveal for Max Monroe’s The Billionaire Boss Next Door ✍🏻

TBBND - BT banner.jpg

Check out my 5 star review here.

The Billionaire Boss Next Door, an all-new hilarious romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Max Monroe, is available now!

Boss-next-door-(Cover).jpg

My new boss has it all. In spades.

Gorgeous green eyes? Check.

Hard-and-sexy body? Check.

Intelligence? Check.

Success? A big fat billionaire… Check.

Too bad I haven’t started out on the best foot.

My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He’s stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business.

With him running the development of the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and me doing the design, our work relationship is far too intimate for two people who absolutely despise one another.

But that’s not all.

See, he isn’t just my billionaire boss from hell. He’s my new neighbor, too.

Same city.

Same building.

Same floor.

Trent Turner is my billionaire boss next door.

Holy moly, let’s hope my career—and hormones—can survive.

TBBND - Teaser 3 AN.jpg

Excerpt:

It only takes five minutes inside the hotel gym to realize why my original plan was to eat a hamburger in bed.

I do not got this.

I’m not good at working out, I’ve never been good at working out, and I’ll never be good at working out.

I don’t know what to do with the equipment, and it doesn’t know what to do with me.

Clearly, it’s been designed for people with half a foot more height and fifty percent more muscle, and even on the lowest of settings, I fumble my way through biceps curls like an uncoordinated inchworm.

I can barely reach the handles, so I have to kind of stoop to get in position, but the newly formed curve of my spine makes me have to arch and wiggle to complete the curl. If it weren’t for my kick-ass Metallica T-shirt, I might start to worry that I look foolish.

The ten-pound weight clanks as I drop it the inch and a half I managed to lift it in the first place, and I stand up to find a different machine. Surely there’s something in here I can operate without having a special license.

I find some kind of seated thing with weights on one end and a padded face rest on the other. I sit, lay my face down, and attempt to slide my legs underneath the weighted bar. But, it’s completely awkward and uncomfortable, and I start questioning what in the fuck this thing is even supposed to do.

Just before I give up completely, a throat clears deeply beside me, and I look up to see a far too muscular man staring down at me in confusion. “Uh…wow…I didn’t realize you could use it that way…”

Huh?

I nearly ask him what he’s talking about, but his actions answer any and all questions I might have.

He sits down on the machine beside mine—an identical machine to mine—and it’s then I realize the face rest is not a face rest.

It’s a seat. For asses.

A seat for sweaty, workout asses.

Jesus Christ. I shudder and disentangle myself from the machine.

“You okay?” Arnold Schwarzenegger’s long-lost brother asks, but I just nod off his question and put some much-needed distance between us.

Also, I scrub my face with the hand towel I brought down from my room like it’s a fucking Brillo pad capable of removing the ball sweat that’s probably found itself a home in my pores.

Note to self: take one thousand scalding-hot showers tonight.

With a deep inhale, I try to regain some of the pride I lost back there by Mr. Muscles and peruse the room until I find a machine that’s labeled with instructional pictures to boot.

Hip. Abduction.

Do I need aliens to use this thing?

Against my better judgment, I study the pictures and peptalk myself into sitting down on the seat and swing my legs over to the inside of the knee pads.

No face-to-butt-sweat mistakes happening here, folks!

The weight is set on one hundred and fifty pounds from the person before me, and it makes me wonder if Thor is staying at this hideous hotel too.

I pull out the pin and put it on forty instead.

After a quick test push with my legs, the setting seems doable, so I take out my phone and start scrolling through it to set up some music to accompany me.

Yes. Yes. That’s exactly what I need. Some workout jams.

Of course, once I’m on it, I get distracted by Instagram, and five minutes go by before I realize I’m sitting on a machine, not a couch, and the purpose here is to do something other than lounge.

I glance up from my phone and scan the room, wondering slightly if anyone knows how long I’ve been sitting here. Mr. Muscles has moved on to a new machine, but a different guy across the room makes eye contact and smirks.

Busted.

Normal human decency dictates he should let me off the hook and go about his day, but this fit, Adonis-looking, sweat-covered, brown-haired, green-eyed—good God, he’s attractive—man apparently has no manners.

Shit.

His sleeveless white T-shirt clings to his tanned body as he strides my way, and his athletic shorts conform to a muscular set of thighs and ass.

I look everywhere but at him, fiddling with the machine as though I’m doing something productive, but he still doesn’t get the hint.

Raspy and firm, the clearing of his throat sounds right next to me.

I look up as innocently as I can manage and pull out my earbuds as though I had music playing.

“Um, hi,” I say with a cute little manufactured laugh. “I’ll be done in just a second.”

He laughs too, but his seems genuine and undeniably directed at me. “If you keep up your current pace, I think it’s going to be a little longer.”

“Excuse me?”

“Come on,” he says good-naturedly—the prick. “You’re just pretending to work out.”

Oh no, he did not just say that….

“I’m not pretending to work out,” I deny. “I’m just getting warmed up.”

He nods knowingly.

“And setting up my music,” I continue.

He hums.

“I’m just about to catch my stride.”

“Sure you are.” He calls bullshit with his smug, green as fuck eyes, and for the briefest of moments, they glance down at my chest and my legs before meeting my gaze again. “But there are people who would like to really use it, so if you’re done…”

What. The. Fuck.

Who does this guy think he is?

“Are you always this rude?” I question, and his green eyes lighten a bit.

“All right, you’re right. I’m really not trying to be a dick,” he says and runs a hand through his hair.

Should it really take that much effort not to be a dick?

“Let’s start over…” He pauses and pushes a small smile to his full, kissable lips. “How are you enjoying the hotel?”

Start over? How about let’s never have started at all?

Still annoyed, I don’t censor my answer. “It’s…swell.”

He laughs at first, but when I raise an eyebrow in contention, he frowns. “You don’t like it?”

“Maybe ugly décor and a whole buttload of pretention are good for some people, but not for me.”

Ugly décor? Really?”

How can he be shocked by this? Anyone with eyes could see the design flaws here.

“Are you kidding? I feel like I’m in my ninety-year-old grandmother’s living room, except it’s a waking nightmare and I’m about to be eaten alive by the curtains.”

“I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s timeless.”

Normally, I’m not such a snob about design, nor do I make a point to make other people feel bad for their likes and dislikes, but for some reason, this handsome prick and his dickish attitude just bring it out in me.

Before I know it, I’m channeling Regina George.

“Well…” I pause and scrunch up my nose dramatically. “I’m sorry to break the news to you, but the design of this place looks like it was done by a blind rat. Gilded sailboat pictures and tapestries with oxen on them aren’t timeless. They’re old.”

His eyebrows pinch together, highlighting the otherwise perfect features of his face. Goddamn this ugly hotel for housing such perfect-looking humans.

“What did you say your name was again?”

Shit. Emory will absolutely murder me if she finds out I got into some kind of confrontational tête-à-tête with a random Romeo in the hotel gym.

Let’s also not forget this hotel gym is located inside a hotel that is owned by the company you’re about to interview with…

Shit. Yeah. I’d better cut and run while I can.

“I didn’t.” I jump up from the machine with the exact agility I’ve lacked during the rest of my workout and offer a saccharine smile. “But, hey, good news. Machine’s all yours.”

“Aren’t you going to wipe it down?” he asks as I walk toward the door, and I can’t help but turn around for my parting shot.

“Why?” I smirk at the pouty-lipped asshole. “After all, I was just pretending to work out.”

Because you know what dicks can do?

They can go fuck themselves and wipe down their own workout equipment, tight asses and chiseled jaws be damned.

Suck on that, workout Romeo.

Playlist
Excerpt
Pulling my two heavy textbooks for this class out of the stack too, I arrange everything nicely. Just as I am getting my brand new pencils ready, I am startled by a loud bang. My desk mate drops his books on the countertop and sits down,
looking at me askance.
I startle to realize that it’s the blond Greek god I ran from only yesterday. Tall and
broad-shouldered, he wears his black denim and dark blue tee shirt incredibly
well. He knows it too, judging by his posture. He perches on his stool and
crosses his arms, expectant. Perfectly unkempt sandy blond hair, dark brows
spread wide over the darkest blue eyes I’ve ever seen, a patrician nose, two
incredible cheekbones, and the most expressive lips…
This guy is fucking hot, excuse my French.
Which are currently smirking at me. I knew hot guys back home in Prineville. Mostly I avoided them, truth be told. But this guy is on another level. He is so
dazzling that he could work in television… and bad tv just so happens to be my weakness.
Being around this guy is enough to make me rethink the bright yellow tee shirt dress I am wearing. I want more than anything to tug the hem down and smooth my hands over my black tights, but I don’t.
Instead I blush, fumbling to introduce myself. Sticking my hand straight out and tossing my messy blonde hair back, I try for an authoritative voice. “I’m Emily Danes.”
At the front of the classroom, the professor clears his throat, ready to start
talking. My eyes dart to him, but then he reaches for his bunch of tissues
again. Glancing back to my partner, I see him eye me up and down in a totally
unsubtle way.
At last, he leans forward and shakes my hand. His skin against mine is hot. I bite my lip, refusing to let a little thing like instant animal attraction do me in.
“I’m Wolf,” he says, his voice low and gravelly. He looks me over once more. Then he arches a brow, his smirk deepening. “Did you find all of your panties last night?”
My cheeks instantly go the exact color of a ripe tomato. I lick my lips and frown. What am I supposed to say to that?

✍🏻 4.5 Star Review: Emily Goodwin’s Cheap Trick ✍🏻

Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

“How lucky you are that you get to fail. You can only fail if you’re living, and that’s not something you should ever take for granted.”

Emily Goodwin’s Cheap Trick carries the profound message that failure shouldn’t define us; instead, we should view it as a step towards making us who we are today.

Through the story of Logan and Danielle, we are treated to a sweet best friends-to-lovers, fake fiance tale. Danielle is fresh from a recent personal failure, running back to her grandfather’s farm in Indiana to find herself. Quickly, she finds a job at a bar, Getaway, a bar owned by Logan and his twin brother, Owen. At first sight, Logan and Danielle are drawn to each other, but Danielle isn’t sure she can trust her decisions when it comes to her heart. Additionally, she is unsure how long she will stay in Eastwood, so she decides to build a friendship with Logan, instead pursuing anything romantic. She needs to “find” her purpose. Throughout a year, Logan and Danielle fight the attraction and growing love between each other. However, these feelings of “more” are explored when Logan agrees to pretend to be Danielle’s fiance for her sister’s wedding. The attraction between the two of them spills over as they explore their feelings for each other at the wedding. Unfortunately, life can change in an instant, and Logan and Danielle’s feelings for each other undergo a challenge. Will they find their HEA in the end?

I’ve heard other readers forgo the “best friends-to-lovers” romance trope. They struggle with the way in which the two friends typically deny their feelings for each other or “wake up” one day recognizing their love for their friend. For me, though, I LOVE this trope. As Emily Goodwin shows us in Cheap Trick, the friendship between Logan and Danielle builds a foundation of true love. There is no real angst between them, other than their denial of attraction. However, it is clear throughout the story that they respect and love each other dearly. And it is comforting as a romance reader. It’s like draping a warm blanket over yourself on a cold day.

“She thinks her life is a mess, but it’s one hell of a beautiful mess if that’s the case.”

I loved Logan. He is the penultimate book boyfriend. He’s intelligent, thoughtful, handsome, and he constantly checks boundaries in a respectful, mature manner. It’s clear that he wants the best for Danielle, even when it might not be him. Some might find him boring, but he’s not in the bedroom, and he’s still so male that he’s perfect.

“All my life, I’ve wanted someone to look at me the way Logan is looking at me right now.”

As a heroine, Danielle offers the challenge of the story. She’s the representation of a modern day millennial, trying to find her place in the world. Her family is awful: wrapped up in appearance for appearance’s sake. Danielle, however, wants happiness, and she can forgo the wealthy lifestyle of her parents to find it. Her struggle with failure and familial expectation is a modern day challenge, and her story is relatable.

“I didn’t realize that the map was in my hands the whole time, and I was the one holding the pen, ready to draw a new road. I thought I was lost, but for the past year, I’ve been exactly where I need to be. Right here, right in front of Logan Dawson.”

Together, these two are funny and sweet and everything you love about an H and h. This isn’t a story that is trying to be anything different than a sweet story of finding love while finding one’s self. For modern day millennials, this story should resonate. I finished reading it with so many happy feels that I am looking forward to reading more of their story in Logan’s brother, Owen’s book.

“But I learned and I grew, and every time I failed, every time something didn’t go as I hoped and planned, I reminded myself that I’m lucky to get to fail.”

✍🏻 5 – Star Review: Max Monroe’s The Billionaire Boss Next Door ✍🏻

I’m just going to state this here. If Max Monroe write a rom-com book, I’m reading it. No questions asked. No dilemmas. No trepidation. I’m one-clicking it and gobbling it up.

Why, you might ask?

They are queens of the rom-com (romantic comedy for those of you who aren’t “in” with the romance lingo). The reasons are indefatigable as to this crown. Using their most current release as the evidence of their queendom, I’ll elaborate on why you should be reading their books, especially The Billionaire Boss Next Door:

**These ladies know how to write dialogue. As I was reading their newest book, I found myself thinking over and over again…how do they do this? How do they write such witty, laugh-out-loud dialogue? Whether you are reading their Billionaire Bad Boys series, The Mavericks’ series, the Jerk Duet, or this newest offering, you are guaranteed side-splitting dialogue. In this book, most of those words come from the mouth of the heroine, Greer (she has the best name, by the way). Over and over again in this book, you will read the genius of Max Monroe’s words and wonder, like I do, how do they do it. Here are just a few samples of their brilliance:

Greer: “If this space is a womb, I’m smack-dab in the center of Satan’s uterus.”

OR

Greer: “My milk shake brings all the boys to the tyranny. Go figure.”

I could provide you with so many other examples, but (1) Amazon might not accept this review due to their strict censorship guidelines and (2) I want you to read the book and find your own favorite lines. Again, this is a strong reason why you should be reading Max Monroe, specifically The Billionaire Boss Next Door. You may, however, need to wear a Depends diaper as you pee your pants at their humor.

**Secondly, everyone knows that the characters are EVERYTHING in a Max Monroe book, and TBBND is no exception. It isn’t just Greer and Trent, the h and H of this book. It is also the ancillary characters who charm you. As they have done previously, the predominant voices are Trent and Greer. However their friends also receive chapters in this book, allowing us other seats in observation of the main characters. Even more, Cap and Emory are laugh out loud hilarious (Cap is on par with Thatch from the Billionaire Bad Boys series). Even more reason to read it for the way it allows you to escape life for a little bit.

This is an enemies-to-lovers tale. From the outset, Trent and Greer are attracted to each other, but their initial perceptions of each other are mistaken. As such they don’t particularly like each other at first. However, everyone else, including their friends Cap, Emory, and Quince, see the potential. Thankfully, Trent and Greer’s attraction and subsequent working relationship allow them to see more of each other’s characters beyond the initial judgment, and the story changes. What we come to know about these characters is that Trent’s gruffness comes from living in the shadow of his father, and he wants to break way from it, finding his own space in the family business. He wants to be “seen” and accepted by his father. Living in that shadow takes a toll on him, and he struggles to find himself. Greer’s difficulty is worry over failure. Her design business is in trouble, and she needs the job with Trent’s family business. Her worry about failure and her natural pessimistic worldview hold her back from really engaging in life. Trent and Greer are two people who are stuck. They need to move forward, but they need to get out of their way to do so, which they do, once they acknowledge their interest in each other.

When they finally accept their attraction to each other, two things happen. Trent blossoms. He becomes a better version of himself in his ability to accept and love Greer as her self. He becomes less grumpy and learns humility through Greer’s encouragement. And Greer blossoms on the job, helping Trent begin to build his legacy. Like any supportive relationship, these characters bring out the best in each other, and it’s the beauty of this story, this book. It’s the encouragement we need, as the readers, to seek our own happiness. To be honest, Trent and Greer are opposites, and it should be a struggle to read them, yet their chemistry is both fiery and sweet. They make each other better. Usually, I like the H or h more than the other; however, in this book, Trent and Greer are a unit, necessary together for the success of this story.

**And the epilogue. I love a “happily-ever-after” like the rest of the romance kingdom, and Max Monroe do that so well with The Billionaire Boss Next Door. I wrote to them on Facebook after finishing the book that there is a moment in the epilogue when I was filled with so much happiness I thought my chest (read this as heart) would burst. Trent proves himself to be the BEST book boyfriend in his admiration and love for Greer, and I can support that. I simply didn’t want the book to end.

I really did love everything about this book. I had intended to read it slowly as I had other ARCs to read plus my professorial duties. However, the moment I began to read this book, I could not put it down because Trent and Greer’s story is special. It will make you laugh; it will make you tear up; and it will make you believe in happy endings. This is the rom-com genius of a Max Monroe book.
